TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
